JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 6/15 Shady Hill Trailer Park. Victim was extremely intoxicated when he advised officers that during an altercation with the known suspect, he was robbed.

Police Blotter: June 24, 2009
E HUNDRED RD 6/15 Citgo. Masked and armed suspect entered through the front door, approached the clerk at the food counter, and demanded the store’s money. The suspect then observed another clerk nearby who was counting the lottery money at the time. Shifting his attention to that clerk, the suspect once again demanded the money. The clerk threw the money at the suspect. As the suspect bent down to pick up the money, the clerk reached for the cordless phone, dialing 911. At that time, the suspect pointed his gun at the clerk, pulling the trigger twice. The gun did not fire. The suspect then ran out of the store.

Police Blotter: June 10, 2009
JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY 5/31 Shady Hill Trailer Park. Victim was sitting inside his vehicle waiting to meet a friend who had called him, asking him for some money. As the friend approached the victim’s vehicle, she was followed by the two suspects. The friend ran off when one of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s cash. The second suspect then struck the victim with his fist, also demanding the cash. Upon receiving the victim’s money, both suspects then ran off.

Police Blotter: May 27, 2009
MEADOWDALE BL 5/16 Victim advised he was walking by the location when he passed the two suspects on the sidewalk. One of the suspects asked the victim for a cigarette. As the victim continued to walk, stating that he didn’t smoke, he was struck from behind with an unknown object. The suspects went through the victim’s pockets, taking the property, and then ran off.

LAUREL RD 5/12 Suspects approached the victim as he was selling ice cream from his ice cream truck at the park. Standing on the back wheel, some of the suspects reached through the serving window to assault him. As the victim made his way to the driver’s seat, one suspect attempted to open the driver’s door. The victim was able to drive off, followed by the suspects, now in their vehicle. As they neared a traffic light, the victim drove through the light, while the suspects stopped.

GALA CT 4/26 Victim #1 was outside when the suspect rushed up to her, stated he knew her, and then put her in a headlock, pulling her with him as he walked away. When a small child fell off his bike, the suspect let go of the victim to help the boy. Victim #1 then walked up to victim #2, who had just pulled into her driveway, and asked to go inside victim #2’s trailer. At that time, the suspect attempted to push the trailer door open in an attempt to get inside. Upon seeing a witness call the police, the suspect ran off. Responding officers were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody.
