WILLIS RD 9/26 Exxon. The store clerk had locked the doors to mop the floors. Upon hearing a noise, the clerk looked up to see the masked suspect, armed with a pistol, pulling on the doors and demanding to be let in. The clerk then ran to the back and called police.

LOYAL AVE 9/23 Laurel Branch Farms. Victim responded to the address, where he encountered the suspects. As one stood in front of the victim to take the pizza order, the second came up behind and placed an item in the victim’s back, which he took to be a gun. As the victim raised his hands up, the second suspect took items from the victim’s pants pocket. The suspects then took the pizza order from the victim and ran off.

WEIR PL 9/18 Rite Aid. Victim advised he had picked up the unknown suspect in Colonial Heights. During the drive, the suspect raised his shirt to show the victim a handgun in his waistband and told the victim that he needed to do him a favor. Arriving at the location, the suspect exited the victim’s vehicle, went inside the store, and stole an item. As employees exited the store, the suspect threw the item down and ran off, leaving the victim at his car.

MACBETH CT 9/06 King’s Forest. Victim reported that the known suspect entered the residence through the rear door and tried to physically assault her. The victim and her brother were able to hold the suspect off until police arrived on the scene.

Police Blotter: September 16, 2009
CRICKLEWOOD DR 8/28 South Pointe Landing Apartments. Victim was outside his apartment, talking on his cell phone, when the suspect walked past him. The suspect then turned back to the victim and, placing a gun to his forehead, demanded the victim’s money. The suspect went through the victim’s pockets, taking the items, and then ran off.

MARINA DR 8/22 Falling Creek Apartments. Victim was walking across the parking lot, coming from the Fast and Friendly, when he encountered the suspect. Placing his gun to the victim’s head, the suspect demanded the victim’s cash and took some from his pocket. Upon seeing the victim’s friends approach, the suspect ran off.

W HUNDRED RD 8/14 Bank of Southside Virginia. Suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note that demanded money. Upon receiving the cash, the suspect left.

HOPKINS RD 8/12 Unknown suspect entered the residence through the front door and sat down on the sofa. The homeowner confronted the suspect, detained him, and then called police. The suspect was then taken into custody by responding officers.

LAUREL RD 8/02 Victim observed the suspect walking down the street. He confronted the suspect about derogatory statements the suspect had made about the victim’s girlfriend. A fight broke out between the two, which resulted in the victim’s receiving several cuts/puncture wounds.
