Hello and welcome back to the Dogpound.

Have you ever noticed that if it were not for women, most magazine ads and flyers would be 1/5 of their size?  Even the news is becoming more tied up by women’s clothes. For example, a 52-year-old woman in California is suing Victoria’s Secret, charging that she was hit in the eye by a decorative metallic object that flew off an undergarment that she was trying on. Not sure how that happened, but she claims she is permanently injured and it is up to a jury to determine how much damage underwear can cause.

Then, on the other side of the equation, a piece of undergarment helped save a women’s life.  An American hiker hiking in the German Alps slipped off a trail and landed on a narrow rock ledge. She was stranded for three days until she attached her underwear to a nearby cable that was used to move timber down the mountain.  I am sure the worker was certainly wondering who was doing wash on such a cold winter day!

Thought for the Week
“A woman is like a tea bag; you cannot tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.” Nancy Reagan

Blind Date
“How was your blind date?” a college student asked her 21-year-old roommate.

“Terrible!” the roommate answered. “He showed up in his 1932 Rolls Royce.”

“Wow! That’s a very expensive classic car. What’s so bad about that?”

“He was the original owner.”

Hurl
Okay, there have been some bad ideas for TV shows, but this one has to take the top prize.  You have seen shows like “Fear Factor” where they make people eat stuff that you shouldn’t eat on a bet, and there are shows that challenge you to eat as much as you can.

Now, this show’s main premise is to have people stuff themselves with food and then go and do things that might make you throw up, like go on a merry-go-round, or ride a roller coaster, and the last person to “hurl” is the winner.

I know, these kinds of shows make me sick too – no pun intended!

That is it for now.  As always be good, play safe, and remember to watch out for the weaker sex; they just want you to think that.
