Former Wisconsin Quarterback Alex Hornibrook Announces Transfer to Florida State

Former Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook took to Instagram on Sunday to announce that he will be spending his final season of eligibility in Tallahassee.

Kennedy, who is one of several Alabama prospects the Seminoles are getting involved with, already had developed a strong connection with Florida State linebackers coach Raymond Woodie. Willie Taggart's staff struck out a few times late in the 2019 recruiting cycle and also whiffed on a few other graduate transfers, but is bringing in an experienced player in Hornibrook.

The addition of Hornibrook will put a bit of pressure on projected starter and redshirt sophomore James Blackman.

Concussions kept Hornibrook out four games over the course of the season, including the Badgers' Pinstripe Bowl appearance against Miami.

Daylight Saving Time 2019: When and Why We Spring Forward
Perhaps the most common and noticeable way the loss of sleep affects people is through changes in mood and productivity. No one's ever quite ready for it , though springing forward tends to go a bit more smoothly than falling backward.

Hornibrook has spent the past three seasons at Wisconsin and was 26-6 as the team's starter. During his career in Madison he threw for 5,438 yards in 35 total games, with a 60.5 percent completion rate, 47 touchdown passes and 33 interceptions. Jordan Travis transferred in from Louisville but is awaiting to hear whether he will get a waiver for immediate eligibility.

Florida State did not sign a quarterback in the 2019 class.

FSU began spring practice this week with just 2 scholarship quarterbacks on the roster, with only one eligible to play next season.
