Are Doncic and Porzingis the next Nash and Nowitzki? A look at how they match

Dennis Smith Jr. fell out of favor with the Dallas Mavericks some time ago, and now he's relishing a fresh start with the New York Knicks.

It is way too early to say either team won this trade, with many scenarios that could play out this offseason to change that answer.

Porzingis, 23, responded with a laugh.

He's already dreaming of the ways to use Porzingis, a 7-foot-3 center/forward, and his prized rookie phenom Luka Doncic, together as a one-two punch in the National Basketball Association.

"I get excited every time I think about it", said Porzingis, whose shares a pro background in Spain with Doncic. For that reason, I think the Mavs will look to make a move.

"I'm doing really well".

Dallas also acquired guards Tim Hardaway Jr., Trey Burke and Courtney Lee.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN is reporting that the Pelicans rejected a Knicks offer centered around Kristaps Porzingis.

Senate passes Middle East policy bill rebuking Trump
He said the world was entering "an era of decentralised jihad", and said the U.S. would call on its allies for help "very soon". Those are seen as efforts to reassure allies anxious about shifts in US policy, including Trump's Syria plan.

With that being the Knicks' obvious play in this deal, rival executives told Stein they liked the trade as they believe "the Knicks must have some promising inside information about their ability to lure the likes of [Kevin] Durant and [Kyrie] Irving".

Porzingis has strong pre-existing relationships with the 40-year-old Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks' rising Slovenian star Luka Doncic.

Mavs fans will have to wait patiently to watch Porzingis play with Doncic.

Well done by Cuban giving Porzingis an out and taking him off the hook. Check back next season when we finally found out how much it could pay off on the court.

Does Porzingins plan to sign long term in Dallas?

"I feel great, feel great, but as I said, we're taking our time", Porzingis said. "I've been patient this whole time, and I'm going to keep staying patient, which is one of the hardest things for me to do. We're going to make the right decisions".

Porzingis said the plan all along was to sit out the season. ". So far, so good". They were looking to see if teams would part ways with their presumed untouchable players, like Jazz PG Donovan Mitchell and Kings PG De'Aaron Fox, but nothing came of it. "That's what you look for in an organization".
