Manny Pacquiao's return to the United States has him face off against four-division champion Adrien Broner in boxing's first major fight of 2019. Pacquiao vs Broner: Whos is your money on this evening?

“Im happy to be back here and Im happy to be fight tomorrow night, ” expressed Pacquiao who turned 40 years old last month.

Trump signs law ensuring shutdown pay for government workers
The White House has threatened to veto the stopgap bills, saying they fall short on border security funding. Congress is planning to skip next week's planned recess if the partial government shutdown continues.

Pacquiao was the aggressor from the opening bell, and he had to be because Broner threw only occasional punches in the opening rounds.

Broner widely protested the decision as the crowd jeered him. He rocked Broner on multiple occasions, and had him in trouble against the ropes, but wasn't able to get him out of there. A left lead to the body and then another hard straight left triggered a repeat performance, Broner again pinned in a corner under furious pressure and even when he did escape, the American was wobbled back with a big left hook. He certainly said as much in the ring afterwards. "Everybody out there knows I beat him". I controlled the fight.

"I wanted to push more but my trainer said "do not be careless, wait for him and you counter", Pacquiao said.

Browne maintained his flawless career record with a straightforward points victory over the former super middleweight and light heavyweight world champion. This time, though, it came from Jim Gray.
