2019's Apple iPhone surfaces with a triple rear-facing camera setup

This may be the new 2019 iPhone Xi

Apple iPhone XI might have the ugliest triple camera solution so far

Below is a slightly more detailed render which provides a better perspective on the triple-camera configuration, the seemingly larger-than-expected flash, and a microphone located on the bottom right of the square casing. The placement of the three cameras is also something to look out for. There's nothing concrete from Apple's end, but we don't expect much considering how the company likes to keep a low-key even until the day of the official launch, which will take place in September this year. Above the third camera is an LED flash, and below it is a microphone.

We're not sure what's the objective of the third camera, but earlier reports have suggested that Apple might introduce 3D cameras in 2019. OnLeaks states that the renders are based on EVT (engineering validation test), which means the device design isn't final as of yet. In the case of iPhone XI, it feels disoriented as the two sensors are aligned vertically just like in the iPhone XS and a third camera sensor is placed between the two, but on the side.

The biggest current trend in terms of smartphone cameras, is the third lens, which we have already from Huawei, LG and Samsung.

We lost several cheap assets and managed to get a lot older on an already well-seasoned Memphis roster. This season, hes averaging 5.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 14.2 minutes per game.

Apparently this year Apple will be adopting the triple-camera setup on the iPhones. It would have been fine until there, but Apple seems to have chose to put an LED flash on top of the third camera and a microphone below it.

Apple launched three new iPhones - iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR - not so long ago.

The three-camera setup certainly sounds impressive, but it's quite likely to push up the cost of production, and therefore inflate the iPhone brand's price tag even further. That said, it remains to be seen if the iPhone XR - which reportedly isn't selling as briskly as Apple anticipated - will prompt Apple to adjust its iPhone naming or pricing scheme. It will be called iPhone XI (iPhone 11).
