On Sunday, he became a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, after signing a two-year, $6 million offer sheet that the Warriors chose not to match. He then rejected the contracts that the Warriors offered him, sending a message to the team that he wished to play elsewhere. McCaw's 2019-20 contract is non-guaranteed for $3 million.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors are awaiting McCaw's signed offer sheet with the Cavaliers before deciding what they plan to do.

It has not yet been determined how long it will be before McCaw can return to game action after sitting out the season's first three months.

We can not play that game and we don't". "I think Manchester City will come into this game knowing that they are still unstable". However, if they are serious about becoming as good as their noisy neighbours and chart their own history in the history books.

McCaw never reported to training camp during the offseason, apparently holding out in the hopes that another team would offer him more than the Warriors' $1.7 million qualifying offer. Per ESPN's Bobby Marks, keeping McCaw would cost Golden State $11.3 million in luxury tax.

McCaw averaged 4.0 points per game in 128 regular-season appearances with the Warriors over the past two seasons.

McCaw, 23, was a pleasant surprise for the Warriors during their 2017 championship run, but injuries and sticky contract negotiations have prevented him from playing a second of National Basketball Association action this season.
