The Pro also managed to cram a fingerprint scanner underneath its screen for people who don't want to use facial scanning to unlock, and can go underwater for minutes at a time with an IP68 water resistance rating (the standard Mate 20 is only IP53, which means it can only survive light rain).
One of the key differences between the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro is the display and its different approaches.
The Mate 20 is powered by the Kirin 980 - the first 7nm SoC in the world.
According to these reports, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will sport a 6.9-inch QuadHD+ OLED display, with a screen aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
Huawei Mate 20 could feature a 6.3-inch (2244 x 1080 pixel) AMOLED display.
Other specs include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Heat avoiding Butler trade talks with Wolves for now
The good: Both are former rookies of the year, and both are young (Wiggins is 23 and Towns turns 23 next month). Often more times than not, players will have each other's backs rather than side with ownership or management.
Both smartphones come with 6GB of system memory and 128GB of onboard storage, with up to 256GB of additional storage via expandable storage. But the talking point is the support for SuperCharge 40W fast charging technology. With 3D Live Object, the user can control their object with an in-camera set of buttons and a joystick. The Mate 20 Pro, meanwhile, has a 40-megapixel wide angle, 20-megapixel super wide angle, and 8-megapixel telephoto lenses. Both models carry the same 24-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. This makes it the cheaper way to get the 40MP quad Bayer sensor, plus the 3x optical zoom of the 8MP telephoto camera and the 20MP ultra-wide angle camera.
The Mate 20 Pro has a 4,200mAh battery, a little bump from that of its predecessor.
According to reports, the Huawei Mate 20 will be available at Euro 799 (around Rs 68,300), while the Mate 20 Pro is expected to be sold at Euro 1,080 (around Rs 92,300) in the European markets.
Most impressive, however, is the Pro's reverse wireless charging compatibility, which allows you to send charge to any other phone with wireless charging enabled.
