Disney's "Aladdin" live-action remake arrives on the big screen next year, and today Will Smith revealed the first poster for the upcoming movie. From the looks of the first trailer, released Thursday evening, the film doesn't seem shy about borrowing familiar elements from its predecessor.

According to The Hollywood Report, the "Aladdin" cast list also includes Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Jasmine), Marwan Kenzari (Jafar) and Billy Magnussen and Nasim Pedrad as Jasmine's friends.
The Disney movie is expected to fly into theaters in May 2019.
