Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba were involved in a tense-looking exchange at Manchester United's training ground on Wednesday (Sep 26), a day after the manager confirmed the World Cup star had been stripped of the role of vice-captain.
Mourinho's decision to remove Pogba as vice-captain came in the wake of what was construed by many as his criticism of United's tactics when he complained that the Red Devils are too defensive at home and should be set-up to attack.

While this further fractured the relationship between manager and Pogba, it is understood that the executive have no intention of asking Mourinho to reconsider the decision.
On Monday, Pogba tried to downplay the issues with Mourinho, tweeting: "Some people make polemic even from "good morning" to create drama".
