Here's another nugget from the Bill Cosby trial before his sentencing.

A judge has told Bill Cosby that he's not entitled to bail while the 81-year-old comedian appeals his sexual assault conviction.

Camille Cosby alleged that a tape-recording Steele played during the trial was doctored, adding that the mother of Andrea Constand, the victim Cosby was convicted of drugging and raping, "surreptitiously and illegally made the recording" in 2005 without his knowledge or consent.

Constand's was the only case that was within the statute of limitations, and is so far the only criminal case filed against him. He could eventually be sent to a state prison that has separate units for geriatric prisoners and programs for sex offenders.

He quoted from Ms Constand's own statement to the court, in which she said Cosby took her "beautiful, young spirit and crushed it".

The Niners struggled with Beathard and Brian Hoyer last season before the midseason addition of Garoppolo changed their fortunes. The 49ers signed Garoppolo to a five-year, $137.5 million contract this last offseason.

Cosby's defense team has raised the racial issue before, in 2016, before quickly scrapping it.

The felony counts were connected to a 2004 incident between Cosby and former Temple University employee Andrea Constand, who testified that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her at his Philadelphia home. Cosby's attorneys requested house arrest instead, citing the comedian's age and the fact that he is legally blind. "I put a high degree of weight on the impact of the crime on the victim and her family", said O'Neill.

More than 50 other women have also accused Cosby of sexual abuse going back decades, with most complaints too old to prosecute. "He gets on TV [and says, ] 'Pull your trousers up, black people".

On Monday, a psychologist for the state testified that Cosby appears to have a mental disorder that gives him an uncontrollable urge to assault women.

As part of the sentence, the judge also ordered him to pay a fine of $25,000 plus the costs of prosecution.

Cosby is still in court and sentencing is expected at any moment, stay tuned.
