Rob Gronkowski has spent the past week preparing to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday night, and there was apparently a point where he was close to catching passes from Matthew Stafford instead of Tom Brady.
Sources say Gronkowski's position was more related to not wanting to leave the Patriots rather than play for the Lions.
Check Out the iPhone XS' Weirdo Battery
We already know from the launch event that the iPhone XS starts at Rs. 99,900 and will be available from end of September. Its display lacks the vivid colors, contrast quality and resolution of the XS, but the price tag is nicer at $749.
Gronkowski led the Patriots with 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns a year ago across 14 games. That despite the fact that coach Matt Patricia and GM Bob Quinn are running the show in Detroit: both were long-time stalwarts of the Patriots organization. The tight end believed he should get a new deal from New England, but the Patriots did not sound inclined to pony up a bunch of additional guaranteed money for a guy with his injury history.
Gronkowski, 29, has nine catches for 138 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' first two games this season. This marks the second consecutive year that the Patriots have added incentives to Gronkowski's contract.
