Sarri seeks improvement even after Hazard hat-trick sends Chelsea top

Eden Hazard ranks Chelsea teammate among the world's best strikers

Impressive Chelsea, Liverpool maintain lead over chasing Man City

Eden Hazard's hat-trick extended Chelsea's ideal start to five matches as a 4-1 win over Cardiff sent the Blues top of the Premier League.

Sarri's new-look Chelsea FC team are sitting at the top of the Premier League table following five successive victories.

Last season saw Liverpool's Egyptian King win an absurd number of personal accolades for his goalscoring form, beating De Bruyne to the PFA Player of the Year award and nipping in front of Harry Kane to win the Premier League Golden Boot.

"I can not handle myself when we miss simple things", said Guardiola, who said he was "angry" and "frustrated" at his team's display.

"I think he can score 30 or 35 goals this season", said Sarri. "But I'm delighted with his performance, a big compliment to him".

"Obviously I have more confidence, I feel better with the team and I hope I can do better than last season".

The Belgian forward, 27, scored a hat-trick against Cardiff at the weekend but has not made the trip to Greece.

It should be no surprise, though, as Giroud's all round influence on games was visible at the World Cup.

That was the cue for Hazard to take charge, scoring on 37, 44 and 80 minutes, the last goal coming from the penalty spot. The scorer, predictably enough, was Wilfried Zaha, who marked his return from injury with a stunning solo effort.

"I think he is right, because we are very risky in the defensive phase, we need to improve there", he said.

Sarri granted him the game off, leaving Hazard at home while Chelsea kick off their European campaign at the hostile Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki. For me, he is a very good player.

"We were in the game for 80 minutes and once again I'm really disappointed with the goals we conceded".

Chelsea are under no pressure to force any changes on the side that have taken the Premier League by storm so far under Sarri, but they will surely have one eye on the trip to West Ham for a derby on Sunday as they prepare to face PAOK.

As per one of the latest reports by Metro, the former Napoli manager has put Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic on his radar and is interested in signing him in the January transfer window.

"For Hudson-Odoi, in his position in the last match we played Pedro and Hazard".

"We have to improve step by step".

It was his second hat-trick for Chelsea, coming four years after he scored all the goals in their 3-0 win over Newcastle.
