Inbox isn’t Google’s only email app casualty this year

Google is Killing Inbox

Thankfully, Google will keep Inbox plugged in through March 2019, so you at least have a healthy amount of time to get reacquainted with Gmail (Android, iOS) - which has been busily incorporating and expanding upon a number of Inbox features, such as smart replies. Inbox was Google's effort at email innovation in a mobile-centric era, and with its departure, we could see another prolonged period of Gmail stagnation.

Inbox by Gmail was an app created in 2014, that would help users get more customisable email features.

Tesla Shares Tumble as Executives Leave the Company
Now that Tesla is remaining a public company, it will be up to its board to determine if and how his role might change. Later Musk says he doesn't notice any effect from the joint, which he claims he rarely smokes.

They've complained that Inbox's handy features, like bundling of trip-related emails and GitHub/Trello notifications, haven't quite made their way to Gmail yet, and who knows if they will. You could just use the pre-loaded labels like updates, purchases, trips, and so on, but Inbox supported custom labels as well. As a result, we're planning to focus exclusively on Gmail and say goodbye to Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019. Inbox launched in the time when user could do only limited things with Gmail. But after the company brought over most of the app's various features to the redesign Gmail, many questioned the client's future. At the time when it launched Gmail lacked numerous features it has today.

Inbox took a different approach to your incoming messages than other email platforms, and perhaps it was a little too different for users to make the shift. However, there is a pretty big following for Inbox, so Google may face some backlash here. It's a service many of us use every single day. The company confirmed the news through a blog post on September 12 titled "Inbox is signing off. Find your favourite features in the new Gmail".
