A shocking incident occurred in France church, where a footage of a priest slapping a crying baby during baptism has made its way around the internet, sparking outrage among social media users.
The dad looks pissed, and people can be heard remarking "no no no", "sir, he is scared" and "that's not allowed".
According to a video by Dailymail UK, the clergyman hit the child in the face with his left hand after he lost his temper when the child would not stop crying during the ceremony. After several failed attempts, the priest smacks the baby on his face. Ohlalalala! I will scream louder than you.
"I'm trying to figure out why no one slapped the old man back", one person said.
A couple presumed to be the parents is heard gasping at this in the video.

Winston Peters will serve as acting prime minister in the interim. "Thank you so much for your best wishes and your kindness". Ardern became the leader of New Zealand's Labour Party in September and was elected prime minister a few weeks later.
"I wonder how many millions of kids suffer inappropriately aged "discipline" like this behind the scenes in religious families who believe this is biblically sanctioned, though", One woman wrote.
Newsweek reported that the priest says, in French, that the child is having a "tantrum" and that water must be poured on his head so he could become a "little Christian".
Unbelievably, there were some commenters who defended the priest's actions.
Before she struck, the master of ceremonies addressed directly to the child, urging him to calm down.
Orthodox baptisms are usually done "forcefully" but many online commentators have criticised the priest's rather rough approach.
