Portugal's forward Cristiano Ronaldo runs during the Russian Federation 2018 World Cup Group B football match between Portugal and Morocco at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on June 20, 2018.

Ronaldo's 85th global goal made him Europe's all-time leading worldwide goalscorer as he broke Hungary legend Ferens Puskas's 62-year-old record.

Ronaldo has now scored all of Portugal's four goals at this year's World Cup following his hat-trick in the 3-3 draw against Spain.

Cristiano Ronaldo will attempt to follow up his World Cup opening game heroics for Portugal against a Morocco side licking their wounds after a crushing last-gasp defeat.

Ronaldo's goal was his fourth goal of the tournament, more than his combined tally at three previous finals, and left him trailing just Iran's Ali Daei (109) on the list of top global scorers.

Ronaldo's four goals top the individual scoring chart at this year's World Cup.

Ronaldo was a clinical finisher and also one of Portugal's best defenders. "Any game at the World Cup is hard".

Portugal tried to bunker down defensively late with big saves from Rui Patricio and managed to get the victory when it looked like Morocco equalize.

Beyonce, Jay-Z Surprise Fans With 'Everything Is Love' Album Release
Everything is Love suggests that the two have worked things out between them, and are very much a team, a family, moving forward. Jay noted that those recording sessions birthed Beyonce's 2016 " Lemonade " album and later Jay-Z's 2017 "4:44" album .

Before the match Portugal coach Fernando Santos said his team must not exclusively rely on their captain but, once again, it was Ronaldo who proved to be the match victor, though his performance was not as spectacular as his display in the 3-3 against Spain.

It will be just the second meeting between the two countries, after Morocco beat Portugal 3-1 in the group stage at the 1986 finals.

"We knew if we lost we could be out", Ronaldo said. "Portugal have the capacity to do better than we played against Spain and I hope we can correct our mistakes".

"We want to score from the opening minute, even though that won´t be easy".

Another alternative to watch Morocco vs Portugal is to try out the FuboTV 7-day free trial.

Moutinho came off and Adrien Silva was introduced for Portugal, who had to survive more scares when Ziyach's strike was brilliantly blocked by Pepe and Benatia fired over in stoppage time.

Incidentally, that was also Morocco's first ever win at the tournament.
