England men's football team captain Harry Kane has said that his national side are looking forward to be aggressive and courageous as they aim to approach the upcoming FIFA World Cup on the front foot in Russian Federation.

Captain Harry Kane and co. will be based in Repino to put the finishing touches to their World Cup preparations before trekking the 1,700km to Volgograd, one of Russia's most historic cities, on the banks of the River Volga.

"The main thing is to believe it can be different; it's been tough for the last 50 years because we haven't won anything", Kane said. "We have a lot of attacking flair that can do some damage".

"You can pick knocks up, there is one or two very close calls that we can see how we players are when we get into sessions here".

If England are able to find a way past the 2014 World Cup winners, Euro 2016 champions PORTUGAL would be next on the menu, if results were to go according to world rankings. When we went a goal behind against Iceland, we didn't know what to do.

Tottenham Hotspur kicks off the season this year with the International Champions Cup, which will see the team spend 10 days in the USA, playing against Roma in San Diego, Barcelona in Los Angeles and AC Milan in Minneapolis. "The FA have spoken to us security-wise and I've got every confidence in them and with family going out there".

But Southgate insists that his players are primarily determined to entertain and ensure that England at least enjoys a feel-good factor during the tournament.

It will be the first World Cup appearance for the Tottenham striker, and Kane said that he wants to improve his scoring record in the big tournaments.

"It's going to be hard, but it's possible we'll become world champions, we have the players and the coaching staff for it, some of us play in the best clubs in the world and are in the top of the league", he told t-online.
