A pickup truck on Monday hit a Southwest Airlines plane on a runway at Baltimore-Washington International Airport in Maryland.

None of the 172 passengers aboard were injured.

The airline replied to Simon's tweet saying, "Glad to hear everyone made it Safely to BWI, but we truly regret any inconvenience tonight". "We've added eight time-saving new routes just this year for our loyal San Jose Customers to get to places such as Orlando, St Louis, and Spokane without a stop or a drive to another airport".

The airline worked quickly to accommodate all 103 passengers inside the plane in order to avoid any further delays, according to the airline's spokesperson.
