The Dodgers (15-17) found some swagger on Friday night down in Monterrey, Mexico.

The first major league game played in Mexico since 1999 took a historic turn Friday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers completed the first combined no-hitter in franchise history with Walker Buehler, Tony Cingrani, Yimi Garcia and Adam Liberatore all getting in on the fun in the 4-0 victory.

Los Angeles put Clayton Kershaw on the disabled list before the game with left biceps tendinitis, and the defending NL champions said their ace had returned to Los Angeles to be examined. The Padres are just 1-5 in his last six outings, are winless at 0-4 in his last four home starts, and have dropped six of their last seven home games. On Saturday, Hosmer's first-inning home run sparked San Diego to a 7-4 win.

Joey Lucchesi (3-2) allowed three runs and five hits as the last-place Padres dropped to 11-22.

In the seventh inning, left-hander Cingrani issued two one-out walks but eventually retired the side without allowing a hit.

This one worked out better for Roberts, giving baseball its second no-hitter of the season. It's the 12th combined no-hitter in Major League Baseball history.
