Hannity invites Kimmel on his show, promises 'no name-calling, no anger'

Sean Hannity Accepts Jimmy Kimmel's Apology, But Adds A Warning: 'I'll Punch Back Even Harder'

'I, too, will give my words more thought and recognize my role in inciting their hatefulness'.

Over the following days, the pair continued to trade insults, with Hannity calling Kimmel a racist, a pervert and a "Harvey Weinstein Jr".

Kimmel went on to apologize for the sex joke he made about Trump and Hannity - which had caused some controversy - writing he did not "intend to belittle or upset members of the gay community".

On ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on April 2, Kimmel poked fun at the first lady's reading of a children's book at the White House Easter egg hunt.

The kerfuffle began last week after Hannity called Kimmel an "ass clown" for poking fun at Melania Trump's accent.

It appears the most recent late night-conservative pundit feud is coming to a close-well, maybe.

"On the surface, I will be honest, it seem to be more of a forced Disney corporate apology directed more towards the LBGTQ community rather than about Kimmel's comments about the first lady. Mrs. Trump nearly certainly has enough to worry about without being used as a prop to increase TV ratings".

LG G7 ThinQ name and launch date have been confirmed
LG said that the ThinQ naming convention is created to reflect LG " s goal of "thinking in the customer's standpoint". However, "Raspberry Rose" and "Moroccan Blue" options will also be available in both matte and glossy finishes.

Kimmel responded on Friday by tweeting about Hannity's love for President Donald Trump. He mocked the accent of the first lady, who was born in Slovenia. "But now that Trump is president", Kimmel suggested, "Sean Hannity is unable to have anything but an erection". Hannity vowed to continue his attacks unless Kimmel apologizes to the first lady, saying, "Apologize to the First Lady and I'll stop. That's how I was raised, that's how my religion teaches me and I'm gonna assume he's honest".

While he was quick to say the statement "feels more like a forced Disney corporate apology", Hannity also said, "I believe everyone should accept apologies, that's how I was raised, that's what my religion teaches me, and I'm going to assume he's honest".

With late-night comedy nearly uniformly opposed to President Donald Trump and political talk dominated by conservatives, Kimmel and Hannity were playing to their audiences.

The fight with Hannity migrated to social media, too, with Hannity digging up old clips of Kimmel engaging in crude sexual humor on The Man Show, which Kimmell co-hosted from 1999 until 2003.

Hannity promised a response.

Then again, Hannity did invite Kimmel to come on his show for a civil debate on the issues he cares about, one of which is health care. I'll promise no name calling, no anger, no rehashing of the Twitter fight.
