Google, earlier today launched its smart speakers- the Google Home and the Google Home Mini. Both the items are exclusive to Flipkart, and they will be accessible crosswise over 750 offline stores in the nation. Google Home can be used to play music, cast videos, control smart home and get news updates. It can also make calls for you and even control home devices such as Philips Hue, Nest, Honeywell and more. There are no immediate plans to bring the larger Google Home Max speaker to India at the moment. The Home Mini is priced at Rs 4499, while the Home would cost you Rs. 9999. Powered by Google Assistant, these smart speakers can also be asked for the horoscope. Ahead of the launch, the Home and Home Mini have already got teaser page at Flipkart, which is likely to be the sole online retail partner for Google for the Home devices. If you buy an Google Home Mini speaker on Flipkart, you will get a JioFi router free along with free music subscription. These products have been customised to match the needs of the Indian consumer and you will see that Google Home is truly "desi".

Amazon Echo Plus is priced at Rs 14,999, Echo at Rs 9,999 and Echo Dot at Rs 4,499. Google Home smart speakers can provide real-time answers to a slew of questions.
These include an 18-month subscription to Gaana Plus at Rs 1, a 12-month subscription to Saavn Pro at Rs 1, 10% cashback for HDFC Bank Credit Cards, and a free JioFi JMR815 Wireless Data Card worth Rs 999.
