After being pronounced guilty in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case by a Jodhpur court on Thursday, Bollywood actor Salman Khan spent the night in the Jodhpur Central Jail and how.

Preity Zinta, who has worked with Salman in a couple of movies, was spotted at the Jodhpur airport earlier in the day on Friday.

Salman's counsel Mahesh Bora alleged that he received calls and messages threatening him to not appear for the bail hearing, reported ANI.

He said the witnesses' statement should not be trusted in the case as they raise a benefit of doubt and questioned why only Salman had been convicted out of all co-accused.

Khan was also fined 10,000 rupees (£109). While he eventually got acquitted from nearly all of them, the actor however served a six day imprisonment in Jodhpur before this happened.

This was Salman's fourth stint in the Jodhpur Central Jail.
